Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Faisal Mahmud
Faisal Mahmud founded Openthix and leads the group's strategic direction and vision — building technology companies that hold themselves to the highest standards of responsibility, craft, and long-term thinking.
He is a penetration tester and mentor in the field of cybersecurity, working at the intersection of offensive security and education. His work focuses on identifying vulnerabilities before attackers do, and helping others develop the skills to do the same.
He founded Openthix to help bridge the gap between the pace of innovation and the responsibility that must come with it — believing deeply that what we build matters far less than how and why we build it.
Faisal is currently pursuing a B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering at Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology — DUET (B.O.U Affiliated).

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Openthix will be the primary architect of our technological vision. This role requires a leader who can bridge the gap between high-level strategic business goals and deep, hands-on technical execution. You will oversee the technical roadmap across our entire portfolio, ensuring that every venture is built on a foundation of secure, scalable, and ethical engineering.
