Vision
Openthix was founded in 2026 by Faisal Mahmud, a cybersecurity professional and penetration tester. Driven by a vision to bridge the critical gap between the rapid pace of technological innovation and the responsibility required to deploy it, he established the company to build technology that genuinely earns trust.
At its core, Openthix is built on the belief that how and why we build technology matters far more than what we build. This philosophy translates directly into the holding company's rigorous standards for responsibility, craftsmanship, and long-term thinking across all its ventures.
Grounded in a strong technical and academic foundation, Faisal is currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering at Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET). His ongoing work in offensive security and education ensures that Openthix remains deeply committed to securing digital assets and fostering a safer technological ecosystem.
What started as a single, focused mission has evolved into a global holding company. The founding principles remain unchanged: we build to protect, we build to empower, and we build for the long term.
